The FortiGate Cookbook website, found at cookbook.fortinet.com, was launched at the end of 2014. You can now enjoy the Cookbook, and all its step-by-step recipes for using a FortiGate, in a whole new way.
If you want to jump right to the website, go right ahead and use the link above. But if you’d like to learn more first, check out the following video website walkthrough:
As you can see in the video, the Cookbook website offers a number of great features to help you accomplish your networking goals, such as:
Videos and recipes available together on the same site.
Recipes organized by subject area, as well as FortiOS version.
A site search to help you find recipes quickly.
A tag cloud that groups related recipes together.
A variety of ways to leave feedback, such as rating for recipes and a comment section powered by Disqus.
In the future, we’re planning to have every recipe available for download in a variety of formats (PDF, ePub, and Mobi), as well as download links for all the videos (as MP4s). Recipes for other Fortinet products are also currently in the works. Finally, we hope to have more recipes available in different languages (we already have one recipe available in Portuguese).
To get a taste (pun definitely intended) of what the Cookbook has to offer, here are five of our most popular recipes to date:
The Cookbook website can help you go from idea to execution as you configure a secure network, so please check it out and let us know what you think.
